  I was not impressed by the hotel at all. Being a Carlton member I was expecting more. Had ground floor room near the back of the hotel and it was noisy from people entering and leaving via that door. Will say breakfast was good.

  The only reason I am giving the hotel 4 stars is the staff!!! The hotel has a beautiful lobby, great coffee and a decent continental breakfast. On the down side, they need to pay more attention to the rooms. When I checked in, my bathtub was clogged. Second, there was food and makeup left in the room from the last guest. Also, the floor had not been vacuumed. After bringing attention of these issues to the staff, they corrected it right away and everyone in the staff was beyond gracious and friendly. The staff made the experience great. While this hotel has things to work on, they at least know how to take care of their customers!!

  This place needs sound proofing. We heard every step, everywhere. Housekeeping was pounding on doors before 6:00 am. We were directly above the breakfast area. That noise started at 5:00am. The people walking and running up the stairs which was 2 doors down from us shook our door. The refrigerator made ticking noises, and the TV and air made noises even when it was turned off. There were noises i couldn’t even explain. Both beds were lumpy and sunken in the middle. So if there was 2 in the bed you both ended in the middle. Breakfast was questionable at best. Only reason they received 2 stars is the staff was friendly.

  Nice hotel for the price. i visit my girlfriend on a month or bimonthly thing and usually this is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest hotels in the area of capitol heights. The location is good with a handful of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The rooms i been in always were good and comfy nice pillows and the free internet made the visit more enjoyable as i stream content through my laptop on to the decent somewhat up to date tv. Overall country inn is my one of my favorite budget hotels that i like the most.

  Like any other club Carlson property, this is also a well maintained, well run hotel. The rooms are clean and warm. The check in staff were very helpful and informative. The only downside was with the breakfast. Not much than waffles and bread, the egg and other stuff were over as early as 8:30 in the morning.
