::I want to start by saying that we stayed here after experiencing the filth at Ramada around the corner. So, if you're coming to reviews to look for a better location after booking with Ramada, this hotel is the same price with nicer rooms. The rooms were nice. Not super fancy, by all means, but not filthy. We cannot comment on the pool, since we didn't swim. The staff was very nice, and friendly!

::Great rooms & staff. Only problem is- while you are remodeling the 3rd floor I would suggest a courtesy talk with the contractors. They took over the breakfast area a little but the plaster group parked under the canopy & brought their stuff in . It was pouring rain and customer's were leaving a couldn't get their stuff loaded out of the rain. One customer was in his car behind the contractors waiting well over 20 minutes thinking they would come back. I pulled around and backed in front of the contractors car stayed somewhat out of the rain. Finally the guy behind them did the same. Also they left a mess on the main floor in front of the elevator. NOT ACCEPTABLE IN MY BOOK.

::I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been happy, but this time from the initial call to make a reservation to checking in was a complete disaster. I originally called at 10 am and it sounded as though I woke the woman up. Her speech was slurred, mumbled and lethargic sounding. I honestly did not know what she said when she answered the phone and I checked to make sure I called the correct number. After 5 minutes of trying to make the reservation she suddenly said there was something wrong and to call back in a half hour. I called back at 11:30 same woman answers, still sounds out of it. She makes the reservation, doesn't quote a price (website said $100), doesn't ask for my credit card, doesn't repeat back anything except to say "I got it" or something like that. At 4:00 I call back because I realize that my room hasn't been secured with a card and I won't be arriving until after 6. When I gave my last name the girl said "Megan" and I told her no and she fumbled around trying to find my reservation. I don't know if she found it or not, but said not to worry about the card and I could pay when I checked in. I also informed her that I had AAA (not sure if I said it when I made reservation). When I arrived there was no one at the front desk, but the girl working came right out wearing a lounging robe over her clothes, she tries to find my reservation again and says "Megan" I again said no and she tries to find my name. Once again not sure if she was making a new reservation or finally found mine and asks for my card. I hand her my card and after a minute or so she gets on the phone and asks for help. A minute or so later a woman wearing a night cap (what?) comes to the front desk and helps her. Apparently someone had put me down as paying cash. I had also repeated that I had AAA while she was putting my information in. Next morning we go to the breakfast area to get our food and the lady that works with the food is wearing her winter coat. The room is not even close to being chilly and someone handling food should not be working with food while wearing their winter coat. When we leave the breakfast area the housekeeper is taking her cart to one of the rooms with a three year old boy holding his tablet (apparently her son). Now, this morning I see my charges and I did not receive the AAA discount. Not happy about that. I have stayed at this location numerous times in the last six or so years and find the professional attitude/appearance by the staff on a rapid decline. When I first started staying at this hotel there was always someone at the front, now never. I don't know if it's my timing but no matter what time I check in or go to the desk no one is ever there. I have never had a problem with making a reservation before, but this time was ridiculous. I do want to say that the staff have always been pleasant and helpful if I have needed it and the rooms are always clean and neat. The comments and rating are from an overall reflection of what I experienced this time around.

::The Employee at check in was Fantastic. Morning breakfast was not a good experience. We walk in for breakfast and employee was sitting on her cellphone talking. Never said nothing to us. No sausage except 1 dried up piece in the pan. Biscuits & gravy dried on top, not appetising. Country Inn Suites has always been our favorite when traveling, but I think it's time to shop around.

::The hotel was very clean. All of the staff were super nice, especially Dolores at the front desk. You could tell she goes above and beyond for all the guests. The continental breakfast was really good too and had a good amount of options. We would stay here again!
