  A small local bank with comparatively good rate, not out of line fees (which are easily avoided), a variety of account types, and the employees really know who you are. The only negative would be few branches, couple in the Bronx, a couple in Manhattan, and one in Scarsdale. A good choice if it's near you. If it isn't. then it's not for you.
