  Although a small park, my heeler puppy has had great play time and socialization with other big dogs here. The location is very convenient for us, which means almost daily visits and a happy puppy. It's been big enough to wear her out, which makes me happy too.

  Four stars for it being a little small, but it's big enough for dogs to play with each other off leash. I think the gravel was a good idea, my dog doesn't complain at least. And I like not having to pull sticker burrs out of his paw every five minutes; we all know how corpus grass gets in the summer. It was cleaned and raked when we showed up in the morning and there is dog water foumtains. Separate areas for big and small dogs as well. I don't know what all the hate on this park is for, we had a great time and will be back.

  If I could rate negative stars I would. The grass area is literally the size of a truck hood to tailgate. And that's it. There's more gravel than grass which is ridiculous. They should've extended the grass where all the gravel is. If this is corpus's idea of a dog park then they won't be very successful with it. I'll continue to take my dog to the dog park in portland. Too much money was spent on a fancy looking fence and not enough grass.

  We drove by and didn't even stop. My yard is bigger. I have a big dog and she wouldn't even be able to get into a run. I definitely wouldn't be able to throw a ball for her. Too much money on land and fancy fence for something that is useless if you have a medium to big dog.
