::Very family friendly, and nice modern rooms. Convenient to locations on Coronado island, but have to make a crossing otherwise. Kids will love the pool. You'll also see military helicopters always flying nearby due to the naval air station nearby.

::Beautiful view of the San Diego skyline, and a wonderful staff that had such a positive attitude. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool was awesome. You could spend an entire trip at that pool and be pleased. Everything was top notch except the ridiculously high priced menu items offered for room service.

::Excellent location. Very nice rooms. Lots of little shops and places to eat within walking distance. Access to ferry to downtown within walking distance. Only reason it's not a 5 is because of the insane mark-up on snacks and drinks. Pro tip: the vending machine Gatorade is $2.50; at the gym? $5.

::Stayed for two nights. Room was nice and well laid out. The front desk gave me a room with a view of the bridge and harbor. Comfortable bed. Bathroom needs upkeep and the shower and bath needed repairs. Nice veranda. Sadly, the weather was not good! Nice gym and tennis courts. Outdoor dining by the fire pit was also nice. Overall, a good spot. Nothing too fancy but certainly serviceable.

::Glad to be changing my review to one star after several days of watermelon water being served at the front of the lobby - it's Black History month, and guests are greeted by GIANT SLICES of watermelon in the water served right at the entrance of the hotel. Having said that... Connected by water taxi and ferry to the city center of San Diego, and very close to the bridge, so it's a great option for the traveller looking to see more than just the city center while at the Convention Center on business. Staying here avoids the traffic on the island which is mainly on Orange Street and adds considerable commute time getting on and off island to your hotel - but you can literally walk to all kinds of waterfront options for eating out right along the waterfront. Full service hotel with a spa and gym, and outdoors along the waterfront you have better views of San Diego than you do anywhere else with no noise and a small town vibe after dark, unlike downtown San Diego and of course there are long, wide beaches on the other side of the island, as well as a short stroll along the boardwalk to some nice smaller beach areas.
