::I was promised a reduction in interest owed because the company did not contact me about the debt until 6 years of interest accrued. This didn't happen and the manager was threatening and rude.

::I have an account with these people, but I have one complaint against them. The complaint is; when ever I have sent money to them. They never send a receipt for payment, but they will send you a statement telling you how much you owe. I know it is a bad business practice to get into. Someone needs to go there to see what they are doing in that office.

::At first I was pissed. I called them because it was on my credit report. I called and a women name Sena or Sima was her name. Man she had me from 100-0. I was angry and complaining why they never try to contact me. She explain into details they have but the only info they have is what was given to them by GCI. Which made perfect sense because I closed my account and moved and didn’t update any information. But she was patient and the best collector I have ever spoken to and she knew what she was talking about. She even offered to get proof of the service. Her kindness was different was like she really cared and very apologetic. I’m glad I had her she was very professional. Great company hope all employees are trained like her.

::No one likes to pay up but Cornerstone has always helped me retire forgotten bills, dispute wrongful debt, payoff so it doesn't break me. The agents are professionals and easy to work with. Can' t say that about all debt collectors.

::Franklin was great, helpful, and kind during my settlement call. He was able to reduce the interest amount of my total, and was generally cordial throughout the call. I've spoken with numerous other reps at this company who have been rude right off the bat (I get why they would have their guard up, but come on!). No one likes having debt, but Franklin made this as painless as possible. Two complaints, however: no email receipt; and Franklin seems to be the only one with this kind of affable personality. Disclaimer: I have not yet received my receipt by mail, and this still shows up on my report (I always dispute after paying to make sure it gets attention). If issues arise in either of these, my review will change.
