  My heritage is Norwegian with both of my parents ancestory steming from Norway. As a sixth generation American Norwegian and a Slooper, being the Great Great Great Great Great Great Granddaughter of Gudmund Danielson Haukaas, a sailor on " The Restauration" the 1st Norwegian ship to sail from Stavanger, Norway to America in 1825 I felt compelled to search for the Norwegian Consulate General in Houston. The website is very informative and I look forward to visiting the Consulate very soon.

  Went on Thursday at 2pm and no one answered. No help whatsoever. Very disappointed. I guess my husband won't be going back home to visit anytime soon.
