  Johnny took my down payment for a countertop on December 31, 2016. He said he was in a slow period and had plenty of time. It is now may 8, 2017 and he hasn't answered one call. He hides behind his text messages and constantly manufactures excuses. Found out through the grapevine he had a couple big jobs he threw his smaller clients under the bus for. He ran off with $400 and won't refund or answer the phone. Absolute comical way to do business. Very shady guy whom I would never refer to a friend. I am filing a case with BBB now to stop him from lying his way through life.

  I hired Johnny, Concrete Surfaces, to install a concrete counter-top for an outdoor kitchen we were building for a client. Really long story short, there was an ugly seam in the counter-top (he told me wouldn't be noticeable), he did a poor installation(didn't even use a level to check for proper runoff), the counter-top took on moisture inside (I was told by another concrete counter-top guy that they never should have used the sealer they did), the seam cracked(he came to try and repair it), somehow it looked even worse and was more rough, cracked again 2 days later. He finally came out to meet with me and my client months later and was so unbelievably rude to my client I had to ask him to leave. A reply of his during our text conversations " It's concrete, maybe they were expecting something else" funny, that's not how he sold me on it. I've tried to get him back out to repair, but no luck. I will be removing his counter-top and replacing with a different company.
