  I've used 'Community..A Walgreens ' Pharmacy for several years now and I can't imagine that there's a better 'service' Pharmacy around. While it is a Walgreens, it's in name only. The vast majority of drug stores these days are more like grocery stores that have pharmacies inside....Not THIS one. 'COMMUNITY' is a true pharmacy where filling and dispensing prescriptions is their ONLY job. No standing in line with those in front of you buying Ding-Dongs, paper towels or beer. In fact, there's no standing in line at all. There's always someone up front to take your prescription and several pharmacists in back, filling them. If you need your prescription delivered, that's one of the services that's available to their customers. Call in the morning and your prescription will be delivered that evening. ......What more could you ask for?.......

  Some of the employees they have at this location are completely incompetent. It's almost unbelievable.

  I'm not sure what a couple of the reviewers are talking about. I've been getting my prescriptions at this pharmacy for over 12 years. This is NOT a typical BIG BOX Walgreens. It is a pharmacy only with only about 20 ft. of tall shelving for a few OTC medical items. In front of the counter is about a 12 ft. square waiting area. That's it. It's a tiny place. If 5 staff members were called to the floor as one reviewer wrote, they'd fill the waiting area. There is no loud speaker system. The space is only 12' by 12'. There is another typical Walgreens in the 300 block of University Ave. and the other reviewers may be confusing this one with that one. The pharmacy folks at this pharmacy have always been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

  I came by this store after having ridden my bicycle home from work so I was a little sweaty and tired. I stopped by to get something to drink and some body lotion but as soon as I walked in the store someone blatantly said "keep an eye on that guy" and then over the intercom I hear "Security, walk the floor". 3 of the 5 crew people that I saw working began quite obviously following me around the store making me feel extremely unwelcome. When I went to check out, the manager was standing at the register and I told him I would be leaving a very negative review, in response he refused to even let me purchase the items I was prepared to by and told me to get out of his store. These people should be fired and I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau and Walgreens corporate office regarding the way I was treated. This occurred between 7:15-7:20pm July 6, 2017.
