  Not a great experience. We went on Saturday morning, which could explain why their service wasn't the best. When I go to a counter service place that's asks me to tip before I've received anything, and they only give you the options 15,20,or 25%, I expect that they stand by their service that much and it's going to be great. It was disappointing. They seemed scattered and the cashier was aloof. Counter service restaurants have to have great service otherwise, it's no different than fast food, or a cafeteria. The food was okay, but this Houston! You can get OKAY food anywhere without the wait or the bad service.

  Great spot! Only went for coffee but the cold brew is great! From what I saw the food looked delicious. Make sure to skip the line if your going for just baked good or coffee as it can be long on the weekend.

  Common bond has amazing pastries, they look and taste really good. But apart from that their food and drinks- especially their coffee is pretty average. I ordered the steak and blue cheese salad which was just okay, some of the steak pieces were tough. I ordered a decaf iced mocha which is my drink of choice as the weather gets warmer, which quite frankly was not up to my liking and I left it unfinished on my table. The food and coffee could suit others palate, so check it out for yourselves if you want.

  My only complaint is you have to wait in line. Everything we had was so good. All the pastries were excellent and the braised beef over grits was amazing. Coffee was very good. Overall if you are looking for some sweets or something more substantial this is a great place.

  My second time visiting Common Bond and I absolutely love it! Pretty packed on Sunday morning around 9am but the wait wasn’t long at all. You have to be smart with seating and pay attention to whose almost finish eating so you can grab it as soon as they get up or you’ll be left waiting. Other thank that the environment and experience is always great!!! Ready for more locations because I drove all the way from the Woodlands just to eat great food!!!
