  Location was awesome. Price wasn't horrible. It was listed as a 1.5 star hotel so we knew what we were getting into. No hot water in the morning, toilet was sometimes functional. At least the staff was very nice and the breakfast was pretty decent (minus moldy bagels, which the staff took care of)

  I really enjoyed this hotel. I was travelling for work alone and didn't have much time or anyone to go out to dinner with. Between the snack bar and breakfast, I didn't even have to go to restaurant. Very filling breakfast, omelettes, sausage, biscuits, gravy -- who knew Comfort Inns did all of that? Also the room was very clean which I liked.

  Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and there weren't any other rooms, otherwise we would have moved. The rooms were dirty. The towels we left on the floor were not cleaned, just folded and reused. The elevator in the hotel was broken and it looked like the families of the people working there were living in the hotel. When we first arrived, there were so many people smoking directly out front of the entrance the entire hotel smelled like smoke. I called corporate and they won't issue any refunds, because it is privately owned. If I were them I would ask the hotel to change their name and get them out of the Choice hotel chain. It is bad for their business. I never review hotels, but wanted to make sure no one else ever makes the same mistake staying at this dump!

  Pros: Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Erika was extremely helpful and informative.  She explained they were in the middle of renovations and was very customer focused.  Decent wifi. Cons: Just about everything else. Classification in our opinion:  No more than a two star hotel.  What you would expect from a $40-60 a night hotel, not $100 a night. First impression: Lobby was old 80's style and had a strong musty old cigarette smell. Not very clean. Room: Door not very secure; old wooden without any type of auto close features. Carpet appeared to be new, but whole room smelled musty with a stale cigarette odor. Bedding: Mattress old, yellowed and stained as was the mattress pad.  Pillows and blanket were musty smelling.  Sheets were clean but very worn out and covered in bodily fluid stains.  Had been washed so many times fabric was thinned in areas. Bathroom: Floor of bathroom and shower was clean and smelled of bleach.  Shower head was old w/mineral buildup and there was couple layers of dust dirt on tip of shower enclosure.  There were only two towels and one wash cloth. Overall Experience: Due to the smell and appearance we visually inspected for bed bugs and didn't find anything, but still had the creepy crawly feeling the few hours we slept there.  Had we not prepaid and been absolutely exhausted we would not have stayed here.  We kept all of our belongings on the desk and literally slept for a few hours and left.  Woke up to a strong odor of marijuana coming from the adjacent room. We didn't eat the breakfast due to not knowing the cleanliness of the kitchen, if it was anything like the room... we just didn't want to chance it. Recommendation, stay some place else.  There is a Holiday Inn Express across the street that looked newer, but ultimately we would stay in a completely different area next time.

  Great staff workers let's just start off with that. A major plus. Wish I could remember her name and also the owners name. Overall, they both are great staff completely. Made me and my woman very comfortable and happy to be there. The rooms are huge for suites. Not usual. Nice size jacuzzi and all. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely recommend this to all guest that are wondering what the stay is like. Amazing staff and owner. Very awesome people. Couldn't of asked for a better service that night.
