  Laughing stock of the American college circuit. I graduated in May of 2008 right when the Bush economy collapsed. As if a degree from Columbia wasn't worthless enough already, it was totally void shortly after I graduated. This month marks 10 years since my graduation. Even going back community college to earn certifications has done little. There is a cancerous stain on my resume in the form of a tumor, I call it Columbia "college." I literally learned nothing in the ways of practical application from this pathetic excuse for an institution which now equates to no experience.......which is how you get a job these days. No job without experience, no experience without a job. Columbia is simply a private money making scam, there are very, very few Columbia success stories. My degree from Columbia has allowed me to work part time in most of the restaurants or retail establishments I'm left to apply at, professional employers don't hire Columbia graduates. 34 years old, never had more than a $900 paycheck. I pray for the demise of this destestable, pathetic, and egregious facade of an institution.

  Not happy with this school at all!!!!! They tell you that they will help you find internships and jobs in your field. It’s all a bunch of lies!!! Very very expensive for nothing!!! Yes it’s in a great city and you learn to live on your own, because you are definitely on your own with Columbia College. If you are looking into this school for your son or daughter ( especially in music) RUN away. DO NOT SEND THEM TO COLUMBIA COLLEGE!! You will get the same education at a local community college. I have 3 other children that have graduated and going to other colleges and universities, and my biggest regret was sending my daughter to Columbia College. It has been nothing but frustration a great expense, and absolutely NO direction!!!

  This school care about nothing but sucking money from you ,,, they keep on giving you the wrong advising then let you drop courses and add more semesters so they take extra money. Some of their professors are racist and they deal with some students as an outsider !!!!!! No body cares. All what they see in you is MONEY. If you have any problem with a professor no one will help you they do not care even if you reach the dean office. As an advice just run away and never come to school it’s the worst school ever, for me it’s not even a school it’s just a fake advertising of a school to take your money.

  My experience was wonderful. Great students and professors. Class sizes are small. RU has a relation with city/jr colleges. Thus, unless you’re there on a scholarship, go to a community college and transfer over. This will save you so much money.
