  Colonial Iron Railing Co made and installed several railings for my family over the years. Not only exterior but interior as well. Not only are they functional and have withstood the test of time but they are also beautifully crafted. They are honest and upfront about everything and I would not trust any other company with my railing needs. I have recommended their services to all my friends and family and now to you as well. They are definitely the go to railing company in the area. Love you guys!

  I would give 0 stars if I could. We hired Carl, the owner of this sub-par company. He quoted us a "cash" price. We agreed and he performed the work. All was great for about a week until all the slate around every railing he installed cracked. We contacted him to inform him about the problem at which point he starts saying he didn't do anything wrong. He finally comes out to look at it and tells me it's not his fault and he can't repair it. I asked him, was it cracked before you started? He said no. I said is it cracked now, he said yes. I asked how is it not your fault? He claims the slate wasn't set properly for the last 8 years. Really? I said, well if you're a professional and that was the case, why did you do the job if you knew it would crack. He then just went silent. He then said he would have a mason come by to fix it because he was wrong. I never heard from a mason and after many repeated phone calls to his office, we never received a call back. This coward won't return my phone calls. It's a shame because the railing did look good, but the quality of work and just overall professionalism is the worst I have ever seen.
