::We had a very good experience with our cross country move. Friendly and helpful estimating and move coordination. We got an accurate move estimate and both the local and long haul furniture movers were friendly and efficient and were very careful with a bunch of things I had worries about. Questions about the process were answered promptly by email as well. Very good service overall! By the way, I found out it is waaaaay cheaper to move long distance in Winter, for those of you with a choice.

::Highly recommend Coleman for moving! We were packed, moved from Midwest to east coast, and unpacked without a single glitch. Zero. None. Isn't that incredible?! We expected great service and received outstanding service through every single stage of the move from the estimate to unpack. Hire Coleman and exhale because you're going to be fine.

::For my move I had to get 3 quotes from 3 different companies for my employer. At first I was skeptical to choose Allied because of the bad reviews. However, I decided to go with them because they were the option that promised to get my stuff there the soonest. I do not regret my choice at all. Rod was the "salesman" that came and gave me the quote, very nice guy. I then worked with Dawn in the office and we exchanged a few emails and she called a couple of days before the move. The movers showed up on time and were very nice and talkative and made sure that everything was all packed securely. They did no damage to our apartment and they worked very fast. Brian was the "head mover/driver". My only complaint would be that when Brian got to the destination he was the only one that moved all of our stuff in. He did a great job but it just took a little longer than I was hoping. Overall I recommend this company, they were all great!

::The worst company I've ever had to deal with. That's the worst company, period. Not just a moving company. They caused us thousands in damages, lost items, destroyed an entire box of ornaments, were unprofessional, refuse to repair or replace some of my property, and on and on. My complaint is on BBB's website and it's appalling that Allied Van Lines (the company Coleman is associated with) has an A+ rating with 89 complaints in the last 3 years and an 85% disapproval rating. This company should be shut down.

::This is part one off my review: if I could give zero stars I would. This company, in its initial sales call, was great. Ted said everything right. He assured us our furniture would be wrapped accordingly and our mattresses would be wrapped AND boxed the day of the move. We made sure the movers had easy access throughout the house. It was going to be a hot day and made sure they had what they needed to stay hydrated and stay on task. The boxes (ALL of them) were all on the first floor. We thought, "this should take no more than 3 hours." WRONG We were told the day before by those who were packing 3 boxes due to their weird sizes that the moving guys would be coming in with material to wrap up the head boards/foot boards the next day during the load-up. The night we received a call from Yvette indicating the WRONG time/info and that put me in a tailspin (they wait to call you right before 5 when the phones turn off and then when you call them back, the phone just rings and rings). Then when the guys did show up in the morning, they broke my neighbor's mailbox because the driver had no idea how to back into a circle. He then tried to blame the mailbox, indicating it was already broke. What?! They then spent the next hour and half complaining that the people who came to pack up our weird-sized pics/mirrors should have wrapped the beds and mattresses. Guess what? They showed up with NO MATERIAL. NO wrapping, no moving blankets...NOTHING. They hauled our bedroom furniture and other pieces into the truck with no safeguarding or wrapping. They put bits of cardboard in between each piece and then told me they would make sure it gets taken care of during the storage process --- at that point my hands were tied. I was just happy that we got the el primo insurance! Moving across country for a job is extremely stressful. The sole purpose of a moving company is to provide service and make sure the stress doesn't happen. They have provided NONE of that. We have worked with three people so far in their "Customer Service" - two are no longer there. We started working with them less than two months ago. This is a red flag. We have called to explain our situation and worry; with no one caring or providing key details of our household items. Also, they say they take food to the food bank for you: this is A LIE. The movers who moved our house had no idea what I was talking about. I guarantee you my food didn't go there since the lead person said "I don't know who to give this to in the office, but I'm sure someone will take it if I leave it all in a break room or something." I will update this post with our goods our delivered. At this point, I can't worry about it since it's done and I can't control what our stuff is going to look like when it's delivered.
