  After using their products for years my impression is that technically backup service itself is very reliable. However respect for customers and customer support must be one of the worst I ever experienced. Opened 3-4 support tickets during 2-3 years period. At one time it took them more than ten days to get back to me. Usually around a week or so. At another time they temporarily cancelled their service to me without any notice, I just noticed, after some time, PC isn't backing up anymore. Opened a ticket, it took them more than 3 weeks to reply and establish cancellation was some kind of a mistake on their behalf and to re-activate the service. Never offered any real apologies, reasonable explanation or God forbid compensation for the time I couldn't use the backup service. Not to mention my data was endangered during the period I realized PC isn't backing up. Finally, after they sold probably thousands of 2-years backup packages with option for customers to cancel any time and get the refund, when they decided to change their policies regarding refund after a year or so (new policy: no refund of course), essentially backing up on promise they gave to customers who purchased these backup packs, I told myself enough is enough. Never again.

  Thanks for the announcement you're killing off all home accounts. Your "partnership" with Carbonite is a joke. Totally non-comparable product that doesn't even support the same OS's that your agent did.

  Possibly the best company in the world? Amazing facilities and super friendly staff. Love this place!
