::Itâs so awful. Itâs all just so awful. The only good thing about CCU at all is their drive-up tellers until 7 PM every day. Iâve been a member for 9 months switched from PNC (that Iâd been with for 20 years) and this is the worst customer service Iâve ever had, and from a bank!!???. Do not join. Youâll wait 2-3 WEEKS for cards to be sent at any given time not just the first cards), and then another 1-2 weeks to get your freaking PIN# to even be able to use the darn card. Iâve been on hold forever so many times just trying to talk to someone in cust svc, you cannot update an email address unless you make time to EMAIL them and then they donât even get back to you! They constantly do not follow through through timely with ANY issue, not with cards, FRAUD a reporting of charges, PIN #s..are we living in the 1930âs again with this business?? The other thing thatâs really super annoying is the fraud department is âOutsourcedâ (all to save them money of course) so when they call and ask if fraud charges are on your card they will cancel your card immediately, but THEN you still have to call back personally out of your own time to have customer service issue a new card-which yep, takes 2+ weeks, NOT 5-7 days which is unacceptable as is! PNC can immediately same-day cut me a brand-new debit card at a local branch in under 5 minutes!!! I donât know why people even stay with this âcredit Unionâ. Iâve had my CCU Debit card skimmed TWICE in the last 3 mos and had to go and buy an RFID wallet, and RFID sleeve at my own cost via Amazon (BUY ONE RIGHT NOW BC FRAUD IS INSANE), bc their Fraud monitoring is the worst! And then they donât even call to follow up with you regarding removing the erroneous charges!!! Why would they? Theyâre supposed to remove the charges like any other bank or CU! Be aware that scammers all over the world are easily getting access to your debit/credit cards without you EVER even taking it out of your wallet or purse. My debit card was skimmed at the NC State Fair last month and I used cash that whole day, never even pulled the card or wallet out to pay for any vendor or anything!!! And CCU never even called after I had the SEPARATE FRAUD CO they use immediately block the card. They do not care. The fraud representative even specifically told me she is blocking 100 cars a day every day, due to the skimming and all this fraud, and everything going on with recession and inflation and people that are just insane thieves. I worry so much for the elderly who donât check their balances and have no idea whatâs going on. Heck it even took me a while to figure it out. Iâll gladly pay PNC fees or another bankâs fees just to have SOME degree of customer service and just keep CCU to use them for cheaper loans but thatâs it. Dealing with Coastal CU feels like the twilight zone trying to get anything done. Goodbye & never again. Run.

::This place has great people in it, except for this one bank teller that goes by keisha. She has quite possibly the biggest chip on her shoulder and is extremely mean/rude. ATTITUDE every single time i get her. All the other bank tellers are nice people that make you feel comfortable but damn, This person ruins all of that. Today was my breaking point because she refused to let me take my own money out. I have had my id stolen and am working on getting it back. I do understand that i have to go through further measures to get my money out, which is obviously understandable and very needed. Today when I tried to withdrawal cash, as soon as she heard my name she said ânope, byeâ, and ended her call. I can go into further detail as to how she acts if responded to.
