::It's best to transfer at the City Hall rather than the Thompson center. In the Thompson center they do have homeless beggers which annoy me to death. My sister almost was killed because of one of the beggers over a few cents. She now transfers from Jackson Blue to Jackson Red, then Roosevelt Red to Roosevelt Orange. At least you don't need to use your farecard to transfer.

::Crowded, but what you'd expect from a downtown train station.
Jeanette Dumbleton
::Easy to get to O’Hare from this station and had elevators so we didn’t have to carry the luggage on the stairs.
Elliott Mattison
::Great for a downtown station! The fare control is inside and there are plenty of elevators. Easy to navigate. Avoid the tiny Wells St. subway entrance though! Also, if you need the red line, go to State/Lake and walk down to the red line mezz. or take the Blue Line to Washington and go through Block 37.

::Just need to get rid of the homeless & keep the pee out of the elevators. Other than that, not a bad place to make a transfer.
