::I love this park! Unfortunately I do not love the unavoidable goose poop that’s absolutely everywhere. It seems all but impossible to find a legitimate place to sit down without it being s problem and it’s honestly completely stopped me from going here anymore. I loved coming here until it got so out of control.

::The park sits right between the state and city capital buildings which makes it easy to check out both. It has lots of cool statues and my personal favorite was a naturally amplified outdoor piano. The biggest drawback is the amount of litter in the park detracts from its natural beauty. There were also several homeless people hanging around, but none approached me or asked for money. One reviewer mentioned needles, but I didn't see anything like that.

::Couldn't ask for a more beautiful day. Denver is becoming a world class city in many respects. Can't keep a gem like this to ourselves. I am a proud native. The changes are phenomenal. Check it out.

::This is a beautiful historic park in Denver. The only problem it has become bum heaven with them camping there on a regular basis. There are a lot of drug transactions and drug use there 24/7. The police have set up several Google Halo cameras but that still has not stopped the problems there. Best time to go is on the weekend in the morning when the city kicks them out to clean it up so you wont be harassed for spare change or a cigarette or asked if your "looking" (for drugs).

::This Civic Center is much the same as any other in a large city.. except Denver's has THE BEST VIEW EVER!! Not just the mountains to include the domed Capitol but the surrounding building architecture and of course, the "people show". There's easy access with major one-way roads if you are driving and if not, the free Mall Ride takes you all the way to Union Station to additional bus and rail access. There are lots of spots to eat and shop along the way. I consider the Denver Civic Center as well planned and easy to travel. Enjoy!
