::This place is a RIP OFF!. They send you notifications of vaccines for your pet when actually is not necessary. Just went in for an annual notice received and after the fact, I came to find out they had done an annual 6 months ago. Vaccines and tests that are usually given once a year, they send notifications booster every 6 months, and they charge annual package that is no joke, $150 unnecessary for tests that are no needed or due. Just find another honest place.

::If you are looking for a quality no frills vet, this is the place. I called to see if they accept hedgehogs and they had no hesitation saying yes: had an appointment just two hours later. Brought her in and everyone in the office was incredibly friendly. The staff was incredibly attentive to every patient and owner. Every doc there is knowledgeable, even with exotic animals: they’ve seen hedgehogs before and I’m sure many other animals. My hedgehog had dry skin and quill loss that wasn’t clearing up. Had two appointments at an incredibly reasonable price ($100+ less than what I hear other hedgehog owners paying) with excellent and thorough care. There was a delay in receiving the ringworm PCR back from the lab and CityVet was on top of it. Luckily nothing was wrong and it happens to be low humidity because of the winter, but I 100% would recommend pet owners to go here. 10/10 would recommend!

::We've seen Dr. Weganast since we got Bingo about 5 months ago. This practice is extremely helpful, prompt to schedule appointments, and care about your pet. Strongly recommend their Puppy Plan when getting your first puppy. Have also used their "Ruff It" for daycare and Bingo came back exhausted, as we wanted!

::I use City Vet Uptown for both the vet and grooming. I just got my puppy, Oliver, back in September and we have been seeing Dr. Ross since day 1. She is absolutely amazing!! If I have any questions or scares, I'm able to shoot her an email and she always replies back within 30 minutes. She is always swift to act when there is an issue to treat, but never makes you feel as though you're getting ripped off!! The grooming there is wonderful - Oliver is a golden-doodle and every time we leave he looks like a big teddy bear. I would 10/10 recommend City Vet Uptown to any dog owner!
