::If you haven't stopped into City Books at met with Arlan, you are missing out. She's amazing, and has her hand on a perfect pulse of the used book market. She can basically find you anything you need - and she can help you find those really great books that help you to connect. Looking for a great gift for your book lover or novice? Arlan can find it - and make it special. Honestly folks - it's not too expensive - it's exclusive, its small and it's very personal. Stop in - you'll be welcomed with a big smile and meet one of the most amazing people I know! It's worth the trip.

::Very nice locally owned book store. There isn't a super wide variety there but anything they don't have can be ordered for you for pretty cheap. They have a nice selection of Pittsburgh authors that I would recommend checking out.

::Love this book shop! So cozy! Great selection and the owner is polite and knowledgeable. Itβs great to walk into a small bookstore and feel welcomed.

::The lady who runs this shop is, first and foremost, amazing. Not only did she help me find some books, she also went out of her way to suggest about 10 novels she thought captured American literature. The shop has a great selection of classics, and if you don't find what you're looking for, you will leave the store with a recommendation of where you can.

::We loved this bookstore so much that I proposed to my (now) fiancee there. The owner, Arlan, is absolutely incredible and the book selection is diverse and amazing. This place is a must-visit for every book enthusiast in Pittsburgh. We go back every chance we get.
