  Excellent take-out has the best salads around! This small, friendly storefront features healthy and delicious salads with your choice of ingredients ranging from grilled chicken to green peppers to dried cranberries and a variety of dressings. Made fresh daily, the salads come in small or large size (both generous portions) with either mixed greens, romaine or spinach as the base salad. They will make it in front of you and ask how much you'd like be that chick peas or the amount of dressing. If anything, I've found them to be too generous! The three men who are the daily staff are courteous, intelligent and funny - they definitely take pride in their work and the food itself. Offering other food as well (grilled paninis, tuna, etc.) I really just focus on the salads. I hear their coffee is good, too (hence the name of the shop) but I can't drink coffee so don't know from personal experience. They also have delicious muffins, croissants and danish so that you can balance out all the health of the salads! Note: They're open from 7am to 4pm but best to get there before 3:00.

  City Beans is very popular with the Military Park Building employees as it is conveniently located in our lobby. The staff is friendly, and the food is a solid option. Especially when there is bad weather or you have too much work to take a walk downtown for lunch. I always order the panini on foccacia bread which comes with chips and a bottle of water for less than $7. It's not the best food you've ever eaten but they don't pretend it is either. Its good, and you won't leave disappointed.
