::Used to be an Austin staple. Still good for a weekend heavy lunch budget spot. I got the veggie enchiladas with the boom boom sauce. It’s a medium spicy but good! The portions are a lot for how much it costs. They also have other veggie options. This also comes with chips and dip for free.

::Quintessential Tex Mex that definitely brings you back to early 80s high school post football game vibes. Chuy’s is usually one of the first places we hit once we get into Austin, and why wouldn’t you? Awesome margaritas and burritos, especially for a decent sized chain. This is about as comforting as it gets and it’s certainly somewhere the whole family can enjoy to get the old school, unpretentious Austin vibes.

::I thought this was a single location and would be cool. We did get good service. The food was good but it’s just like most Mexican restaurants, a burrito with rice and beans. My meal was listed as spicy and I was pleased that it wasn’t too spicy to eat. I was a little disappointed that there were multiple locations…because I thought it was unique. Bonus for the Jalapeño Ranch dip!

::If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! First time visiting Austin & happy to have this recommendation. Fresh chips with salsa while you wait for your food is a great touch! The quesadilla with chicken, rice and beans was absolutely delicious!!! The skinny Margarita was a perfect drink to round off a great meal. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Fun atmosphere and great service. I’ll definitely come back when I return to Austin!!
