  Chris has been a wonderful teacher for me. He has tailored lessons to my needs, filling in crucial gaps in my music theory and guitar knowledge and always pushing me in the right direction. Could not recommend him enough!

  I've been taking lessons from Chris for just over a year. He's an experienced and very knowledgeable teacher with an easy going personality. I am learning proper technique and also experimenting with blues and jazz tunes. I recommend him highly.

  Chris has gone above and beyond in helping me find and work out banjo arrangements for the kind of older, more obscure songs that I was interested in. He is easy to work with, patient, and clear in his direction and lessons. His scheduling system also has made it easy for me to plan and reschedule lessons when necessary. Last but not least, we laugh and have fun. Highly recommended teacher.

  I am taking banjo lessons with Chris for 2 years now and he is great teacher. He is patient, a great resource for learning and training material and got me playing quickly.

  I’ve been working with Chris for coming on three years. He’s insanely talented (very patient) and an all around great guy and teacher. He’s been able to offer me all sorts of practical and theoretic knowledge, but also always letting me drive the direction and pace of the lessons. He shown me some great music and helped me figure out how to play many of my personal favorite tunes. Can’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for a teacher. I happen to play ukulele, but I’ve seen who’s skills on guitar and banjo as well!
