  Make a reservation outside on the clipboard. Can be very busy especially on the weekends and nights. Really good okinomiyaki if you’re not fond of cabbage or green onions it might be a bit intimidating but it is still good nonetheless.

  Really delicious. Recommend trying both crunchy and soft noodles if you can, they're both good in their own way. I love the seafood ones! Their takoyaki is pretty good too, and their yuzu drink is nice and refreshing. Have come here twice already and hope to eat here many more times.

  A bit disappointing if I’m being honest. Decided to try this place out but I feel like it’s just one of those places in LA that are overhyped. Food was okay. Serving was pretty big though. My friend and I ordered the same thing, but his didn’t have much meat in it while mine had enough. We even asked how to eat it and told the server that it’s our first time eating something like that but she didn’t really explain much. Takoyaki was alright too. I’m just glad that we didn’t have to wait for too long since it was okay for us to sit outside. Also, it just looks like there’s a lot of tables inside, but not really and that’s why the wait is always long too. Not sure if I’ll come back to try something else.

  Decided to give this place a try and was amazed! Food was delicious the staff was super friendly and gave us recommendations on what to get. Prices were decent, I guess the only complaint is the 45-55 minute wait.

  Hearty and tasty but they are still working the kinks out. Some places have long lines to get in because they are popular. Others have long lines simply because they are slow. I'm afraid at this stage it is the latter that is the case for Chinchikurin. Service is slow and from my spot at the counter I could see that some of the servers were confused and unable to identify dishes by looking at them, including one that could not even tell the difference between crispy and soft noodles and mixed it up three times for the party sitting next to me. They also ordered immediately before me yet mine came out several minutes later. When the cook couldn't locate a server to hand me my dish he came out from behind the counter and handed it to me himself, offering profuse apologies for the delay. It took over 30 minutes to receive my food after ordering. No servers checked on me after ordering and I had to flag one down to get my check. The party next to me had to ask for refills on their water and even that took several minutes to accomplish. I'll give Chinchikurin the benefit of the doubt and an extra star on account of them having just opened a couple weeks ago and I'll have to reevaluate again in the future, but as things were today they really only earned two stars. I definitely recommend getting seated at the counter as there is definitely a lot of action to see on the grill and the cooks might end up taking better care of you than the servers in the end.
