  I'm from California, so I have to do my duty and judge other state's Mexican food. Authentic this is not, cutesy fusion, meh I guess. It wasn't very flavorful. I just wasn't a fan at all. And it was pretty pricey. The atmosphere was nice, and that's why I'm giving it two stars.

  Food was good but not great. Service was better than the food and the area is a nice location with lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate walking distance. Close proximity to hotels, Symphony Hall, Convention Center, stadiums, etc. I would eat there again but probably appetizers and drinks at the bar more than for a meal. There are other restaurants that are in the immediate area I would choose for a meal ahead of Chico Malo but definitely not a bad choice.

  Great place to stop if your downtown. They have a pick three for $10 that is perfect for a quick lunch. Service was fast and friendly.

  Service was great and I would definitely go back for the drinks and atmosphere. As for Mexican food it was okay. The food would not draw me back but the rest of the experience would. To me the food was mild in flavor and Spice. But I do have to say I really enjoyed their tortillas here! And grab a margarita while you're there, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

  I had a quick lunch at Chico Mall, and I was impressed. The service provided was fast and friendly. I had 3 tacos from their 3 for $10 section and a nice cold beer. The flavor that gets packed into each taco is amazing. I sat outside however that didn't slow service at all. I was also pleased by the decor as the restaurant had nice focal pieces. I'll definitely be back to try other entrees.
