  Chris and CJ have changed my life. I am disabled with mobility impairment and a partial amputation. They have shown tremendous care in helping restore my ability to care for myself and others by enabling me to walk again in normal (but heavily modified) shoes.

  They're liars, they won't warranty their stuff after they told my brother in law they would. The guy compared his shoes to tires and he is handicapped. And his $550 shoes that he got from them fell apart within a year. Do not go here unless you want to be dealing with liars and thieves.

  This is a complicated business for me to review, obviously many people have a great experience working with them. I did not. I need pretty specific alterations to pretty specific shoes. The firm that I have worked with for many years is going out of business this year and I was hoping to find a new firm to work with. Several things went sideways in this process. I normally have used Keen sandals and have had great success with them The sandals that Chicks sold me did not stay on my feet very well and were not particularly comfortable. I think I need to be able to bring in a shoe and have them work on it rather than purchasing shoes from them. They assured me that it was a much better sandal and the one that I was used to but the reality for me was that it was far from satisfactory. The person that I was working was willing for me to come back in as many times as necessary to try to make the shoe work but the reality is it doesn't stay on my put properly and therefore is not something that I'm going to try to make into an everyday sandal. The other experience that was not entirely satisfactory was making an appointment to come in to work with someone only to discover that they were waiting on several customers at the same time. I'm used to the idea of going to the shoe store with an appointment but when I get there I will have someone's undivided attention. On the plus, side they sold me an insert that I am confident I will continue to be able to enjoy in other shoes not the sandals in question. They gave me half the information I needed in order to find them online (which was enough for me to actually figure it out). They told me they were "performance sport" but the brand-name is actually Prothotic and I highly recommend them. Ironically they have prominently placed a sign in their shop extolling the virtues of quality versus low price and unfortunately in my case the equation worked out somewhat differently.

  They were such a blessing to me! No one else including the doctors had been able to help my plantar facistis like they did. The owner will not let you buy a shoe that won't help you either and recommended the cheapest when two were close. They are in business to help you, not cheat you. I really admire that.
