Markers that were placed by the Chickasaw Gardens Homeowners Associations in honor of citizens of Memphis. At the time that the markers were placed, the neighborhood was segregated,so all of the markers represent white citizens. There was a separate place to honor African American citizens in another park. The markers are corroding and are hidden under the growth of the Magnolia trees.
