Their new registration system web page does not work for everybody. It behaves so differently on Internet Explorer and Firefox. The new system is slow. It does not show the classes because the class list frame is so small that it gives you the impression that there is class list. McFretridge park does not offer walkin registration so I was not able to register my whole family for spring. This is so fustrating!

I agree the Waveland courts are the worst!! They are downright unsafe. I have seen numerous people get hurt there because of the poor traction and uneven surface. CPD need to do something!

I agree with the reviewer below on all counts. These courts are some of the most in demand courts in the City of Chicago and they are among the worst maintained courts, short of completely abandoned ones on the far west side. The park district, which actually has meters for the whole lot (which is constantly near capacity) must be able to generate enough money to have (i) adequate light bulb replacement, (ii) a clean surface, and (iii) windscreens. The courts are dangerous for a series of reasons, but needless to say, the surface is so slippery without adequate grip on the shoes that I've seen countless people fall in situations where there would typically be grip. It's only a matter of time before one of the neighborhood residents actually gets hurt and pursues litigation that will far exceed the cost of taking care of the courts at a base minimum standard.
