  I stumbled in on a hot August afternoon by myself. The restaurant was empty, but the owner was welcoming and happy to wait himself. Most people that own upscale restaurants don’t run food and fill glasses with a smile.

  Visited for Christmas Day and it was fantastic. If this is the service for the busiest day of the year for them, I can only imagine how they do the rest of the year. The sushi menu has a careful balance of daring signature blends of flavor (try the stasuma one) and quality renditions of classic, simpler rolls (even the California roll was good). I'll definitely be back.

  Definitely one of the best sushi places in the city. Everything is so incredibly fresh and delicious. Only downside is that it's pricier than almost every other place so be ready to drop some money. Worth it in my opinion though.
