  This is the best cheese shop in town...by far. Extensive knowledge, artisan cheeses in the case you won't find anywhere else in town, tastings of any cheese you are interested in, and most importantly, no snooty staff. They are happy to educate you if you are interested in learning more (unlike a couple other shops in town). The goods sold in the shop are also great. A real treat!

  Outrageouly expensive dry salami--$50 per pound! Price not marked. Quite tasty, but really? The guy cutting the cheese near the salami case was reluctant to answer questions about the salami and the cheese curds I was considering buying. I went ahead to have them rung up, without having my questions answered, shocked at the price. I caved and did buy the salami despite the price. Alienating experience with staff each time I've gone in there.
