  The owner is very kind and tries to understand the situation with the people who rent the cars. He may not sounf kind on the phone but face to face he is a very nice person. One drawback is that his shop closes at around 5pm and there is no airport pickup services. But you cannot get cheaper rental cars in Hawaii than Cheap Rent A Car. The location is also not far from Ala Moana shopping center.

  Great. Couldn’t be more helpful and customer service was miles above that of major car rental companies. Very reasonable price and not unrealistic as we had found elsewhere. Overall, 5 stars are well earnt for this car rental.

  I was in Honolulu for vacation, I’d also like to add that I’m young (adding this for pricing). Overall, best car rental place I could have gone to. I went the people were extremely helpful didn’t try to sell me things I did not need. They truly care about the customer. Additionally, I called multiple other areas this was one of the most affordable if not the most affordable. Car had a small ding but I didn’t care. I went to explore the beautiful island and that’s what I did. Car took me everywhere and it was very reliable.

  I liked this place and I will tell you why: Great prices. Got a compact car for $35/day (twas a dodge dart). That's like twice cheaper than all other places and more than twice if you compare with Waikiki rentals. Car was clean, well maintained, 4 wheels, running engine... What else you need?! No problems with returning. 2 things to be aware of: • the location doesn't look very good, so be prepared for that. • when picking up the car, you might have to wait about up to 15-30 mins. There's only one guy running the office, so keep that in mind as well. Overall, if I need a car again, I'd come back

  I've been coming to Richard for the past 4 years. He is very helpful and professional. He made each experience and process quick and smooth! Which is wonderful :) Cheap rent a cars has the best prices in Hawaii and I highly recommend them!
