::Impossible to reach by phone, long waits when you go there in person. No normal system of taking messages or making appointments. Weird. Any other business would go bankrupt with such terrible service. Have not yet closed my accounts but would never open a new one here.

::I had the same experience when I tried to add my husbands name to my personal account. The staff asked very detailed questions about my husband's business and claimed they needed the information to prevent situations like Bernie Madoff. They refused to add his name unless all of their (seemingly endless) questions were answered. After 30 minutes of questions and refusal to show us the regulations requiring this information, we went to another Chase branch down the street which added my husband's name in 5 minutes.

::My wife and I, who have longstanding accounts with Chase bank, wanted to open a joint account. We were asked unusual personal information and we were told that it is mandatory due to banking regulations. When we asked to be shown supporting evidence that we need to provide this information, they said they were not able to. Therefore we are moving our business to a more customer friendly bank.
