  Diagnosed with Merkel Cell Carcinoma in 2009, my husband went to MD Anderson because we could not find a doctor in Dallas who treated this rare cancer. In 2011, we found Dr. Cowey, who followed up with my husband through the five years after his surgery in Houston. In 2022 when the cancer returned, we went back to Dr. Cowey who moved quickly with infusion treatments. My husband has other health issues which also concerned Dr. Cowey who now has given referrals on what other doctors to see. Thorough, open, compassionate, and knowledgeable, Dr. Cowey has shown interest in treating the whole body, not just his area of expertise. His staff has been equally helpful in guiding us through the health care system. I highly recommend Dr. Cowey and thank and appreciate him for being on top of his own game as well as being so diligent in helping identify solutions for my husband’s other health problems too. Dr. Cowey is what you hope every doctor will be.

  Dr. Cowey is an excellent physician. Friendly, professional and caring. When I was first diagnosed, he and my surgeon had a precise plan of attack from diagnosis to ultimately a cure. There is no doubt that I am still alive because of his care.

  Dr Cowey and his support staff have made my fight against cancer less challenging. His consultations, recommendations and directed activities have brought me to a much healthier situation. If you are searching for an Oncologist who understands both patients and these attacking diseases then look no further then Dr Charles Cowey. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  I have been going to Dr. Cowey for almost 3 years. He has kept this cancer at bay. They have tried many things. He is very nice and concerned with my progress and so is his staff. I feel comfortable and safe when I am there, knowing that they are doing everything they can.

  Dr. Cowey treated my husband 4 years for Melanoma cancer. Dr. Cowey was a thoroughly and caring doctor. He made my husband and I feel at ease no matter what was happening. He explained everything to us in depth. Even though my husband passed after 4 years Dr. Cowey expanded his life with as much comfort as possible. Dr. Cowey's staff was a blessing to us, as well.
