  Excellent Kosher food. A bit pricey, but the location is part of that. They have a bar, but we didn't use it. Our lunch was delicious. I had a pulled brisket burger and fries. My husband had a deli-sub with their rosemary potato chips. Neither of us could finish the whole serving. Service was prompt and good. The food is prepared fresh and arrives hot. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Metro subway stop. Recommended.

  The Char Bar burgers are superb, as are many of the specialty sandwiches. Staff are great about requests for changes, special items. Note kosher - so no dairy items, wines are kosher. Enjoyed great mini lamb burgers, ribs and more on my last visit.

  Best kosher burger I’ve had in a long time. Service was very nice even though there was a big crowd due to the convention. Great and delicious meal!

  Char bar is a delicious kosher spit in the heart of Washington dc. I visited a few different spots in DC but char bar was absolutely the best restaurant we visited. The meat is high quality. The service is very generous and polite. I really enjoyed the ambiance. I had a burger and steak salad... I wish they had a char bar in Florida.

  We had visitors from NY and went on Sunday evening for Dinner. The place good size , with bonus 2 additional rooms for larger parities and family dinning. We were seated in a few minutes and the service was excellent . We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We ordered Tacos with BBQ Brisket which was excellent. The kids loved the burgers and sliders . Salad and Burgers were fantastic . Thank you for making such delicious food, we really enjoyed it !! We plan to come again very soon .
