::I like it because they are sincere and willing and wanting to help but most importantly,,,, you have to want to help yourself as well.

::I'm grateful for this place. This is the main shelter that most homeless ppl want and some take poor advantage of. If you're a regular they will not take u serious. The first time I was here years ago it was very stressful due to other personal factors now I'm here again it's very organized and they allow u to have your freedom come and go throughout the day before 7pm serve three decent hot meals case workers staff on hand etc etc. If there is no bed space they will offer u a cart. Green shirt have a few decent ppl that will work hard to get u in the other few only work by numbers. If you're serious about working to get your life together and respectful they will help u with housing groceries deposits furniture and a few more ecentives. They help working familes. If u have income you can save your money. It's a stress free environment in a good mindset. They don't judge who can stay. These negative comments is coming from negative ppl. Don't worry about others here mind your business and focus on you it will be more pleasant. They take a lot of homeless ppl from different walks of life the mentally ill the working class bums etc. There will be moments a bad crew might enter but it doesn't take away the help it offers if u show them and tell them your needs and follow the plan. Some ppl come in and out like revolving doors for years but it doesn't take away the help when u ask for it through chain of command and eligible. U can stay up to 9 months. They use to call it THE HAC. Thanks Chapman staff for excepting me. Shannon Nixon

::It's giving a great assistance to the homeless. But there could be some improvements...!

::Find a nice spot in the forest. You'll do better

::Upon entrance you treated as a homeless piece of dirt. They check your luggage and I'm sure it's for everyone's safety but there's no need to linger near my panties. The staff are rude and it feels like a prison system, the classes are non existent to be honest and they don't even help with job placements. I recommend a nice forest on 296 and us1
