  I graduated from Marine Security Guard School at Henderson Hall on October 7, 1966. At that time we occupied WWII barracks. It was still a nice place to serve and I appreciate the experience to this day.

  Small historic base on the Western Edge of Arlington National Cemetery. It is the combination of an Army base, Ft. Myer, and Marine Corps Base, Henderson Hall, unified under an Army garrison commander. The main tenant is the Old Guard, the Army's ceremonial unit and the main provider of support for funerals at Arlington. While the historic district is nice, many of the buildings need significant renovations. However, it does not look their is much work being done on them. That's a shame.
