::Awesome park that I feel not many people have explored. I believe this to be one of the islands hidden gems along with Morgan Park in Glen Cove and the Muttontown preserve in Syosset

::It's the historic home of William Cullum Bryant located on the banks of Hemdstead Harbor. Beautiful grounds, flowers, hills. Fabulous details of architecture on the house and outbuildings. A very pleasant place to take a stroll, have a picnic or to hear poetry and dance.

::Enjoyed the excellent hospitality of Cedarmere's volunteers, a wide array of Greek and other appetizers (filling enough to substitute for dinner), and the beautiful grounds on the shore of Roslyn Harbor after a great performance covering opera through the centuries in Italian, German, French, Greek and Russian by the up-and-coming baritone John Brakatselos, posing here with Church of the Holy Resurrection attendees of the 3 pm performance.

::I go here about once a week to eat or write or just walk and hang out. It's gorgeous and tranquil. Props to those who keep it pristine
