  Rooms are super tiny. Water from the shower gets everywhere. The rooms are not for those with asthma: a lot of strong fragranced cleaning products are used. We opened all windows for 1/2 a day to get the smell out. Staff is VERY courteous and polite.

  Stayed here for a night when I was last in New Orleans. Photos looked great so I thought I’d give it a shot. The room was decent, but not as nice as the photos made it out to be. There was no iron and no fridge. I got over that though. The reason I’m giving two stars is because of the showers. The are honestly disgusting. What a terrible design for a shower. There are wooden slats on the floor raised about an inch above the tiled floor where the drain is. Below that is a sea of hair, grime and bacteria.... About 2 weeks after my trip I developed athletes foot (which I’ve never had before) and guess where it comes from??? Unsanitary bathrooms and shower facilities. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. Or bring shower shoes like you’re camping.

  The hotel was very nice. The room we where in was a little on the small size but the bed was VERY comfy I think they use Casper mattresses. The only thing I didn't like was the bar. The bartender was great but those drinks where strange. Just not my thing. Anyway overall very nice.

  Great place to stay in NOLA. Close to the French Quarter, but far enough that noise isn't an issue for sleeping. I liked the unique design and feel of the place. Felt like an "inn." Nice and quaint esp. after a day in the crazy city that is New Orleans. Internet, tv, air conditioning/heating all were superb. Bed was clean and extremely comfortable. While housekeeping did a great job the whole place could use a deep clean. The shower walls and behind the sink looked dirty and the floor was dusty. I wouldn't walk barefoot on it. The wooden pallet in the shower kind of grossed me out as I'm sure the water beneath the pallet was nasty. Also there is no iron or coffee pot in the room. There is a cafe / bar in the main building so there's that. The rooftop bar is really cool and relaxing. I liked the hanging lights. Check in/out was a breeze and everyone was welcoming. I would stay here again, enjoyed my stay.

  Minus the issues with the water, which wasn't the hotels fault, the stay was more then comfortable! Beds were 10+! And the hosts were super helpful and friendly. Coffee and snacks every morning at the bar were really good! My only complaint would be the shower floor with wood. Smells a little funky. Overall i would stay again and recommend!
