Do not go to this gallery the owner thinks he is slick. They are running a sale and them con man tried to up the price of $3 items to $100. They have prints and photo all marked $5-10. The $3 sale sign was a scam. He claimed the item was not on that rack that held 50 photos all maked under $10 dollars. Claiming it was not where I found it, and I must have taken this from another place. Then claimed I must have taken the price, off. Well an employee was right there the whole time and agreed with me. Typical trash that wants to cheat local people. But what can you expect from rude uneducated trash. The lower class have ruined New Orleans. Still getting paintings out of Mr Casell, I wonder if that poor old man will get paid. Do not buy from this dishonest trash street boy.

The owner of this place was EXTREMELY rude to me for no good reason. My husband and I were looking through prints and had found several we were planning on getting. I glanced at the owner, who hadn't said a word at that point, and he seems to be glaring at me, but that didn't make sense because we were not mistreating anything and we were customers. We were in the store for about 10 minutes with no other customers. A few other people came in when I started looking at some prints that were framed. The owner came over to me very aggressively and asked angrily, "can I help you? Can I help you ma'am?" It took me a second to realize he was talking to me because we had been in there for so long alone without him saying a word. I said, "no, I am looking, thanks." Very aggressively, he said, "you can't look at those." I asked, completely confused, "I can't look at these?" He said, "no, you can't look at those!" And he went back to his sitting area and said, "I can't help you, can I?! You're just looking." It was obvious from his tone that he judged me from the way that I look and had decided I wasn't going to buy anything, which is funny since I was planning on it. So, my husband and I left, as did another couple who said they left the store because of how he treated me. Considering they didn't know me or my husband, that tells you how horrible this guy was. My husband decided he couldn't leave it, so we went back in the store and my husband said to him, "I want to know why you were so rude to my wife just then." The owner couldn't answer directly of course, and tried to brush us off by telling us in a snide way to "have a good day." My husband asked, "if you won't let us look, how are we supposed to find anything?" The guy said, "oh well, I can't help you anyway, can I?!" Seriously?! There were tons of things to look at and we had only looked for 10 minutes. I wanted some art, but this guy decided he didn't want our business based on how we look. And if you wonder, was this a race thing? No, unless he hates his own race, but this was some sort of discrimination...I just can't figure out why. We literally did nothing wrong or disrespectful. This guy was an absolute jerk, and this was the first thing we did on our first full day in New Orleans...what an awful way to start! We were pretty upset for a while, but most people are friendly here. Our next stop--we bought two prints. Then, we bought another. Then, we found another we had been looking for. So, that guy can stick it with his judgements and his anger. If he is tired of selling to the public, and tired of the nature of the business, which is that people look for something they like--they don't just buy something for no reason, then I have one word of advice for him: STOP SELLING TO THE PUBLIC. The other bad review was spot on.

Please be careful if you enter this gallery, the owner is a bit aggressive. I witnessed him swearing under his breath at customers and being confrontational if they didn't buy anything. Try to avoid.
