::I love this place. I first went to have lunch here on a business trip to San Diego. I enjoyed it so much that I had to come back on my next trip. They have a large variety of menu options and everyone in my group loved their selections. The outdoor seating in back is beautiful and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. I only wish we could get food like this where I live. Solid 5 Star location.

::Other than the extreme wait....the quality of food was extraordinary. Once inside the server was attentive and constantly checked on our large group. They even adjusted well to the small add ons we kept throwing at them. My father raved about his shrimp plate as being something he would find back home on the Mexican coast. The plates were well served portion wise and a good value for the price. It is a tourist heavy venue but worth the wait.

::Quaint and charming Mexican restaurant in Old Town...be prepared to wait as this place is really popular! Fresh, homemade tortillas! Yum! Margaritas were excellent as well. I ordered a shrimp and rice plate... absolutely delicious! Great, friendly service and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Fresh chips and salsa to start off the meal. Authentic atmosphere... would definitely come back again when visiting this area!

::I was in San Diego for an Avon seminar and my Senior Unit Leader and her husband hosted me for lunch. I had never been here before. The place was crowded and that's a good thing! Lots of choices on the menu and the servings were tasty and plentiful. Come here hungry because they give you big servings. There is a bar and outside seating. We chose to eat inside because the weather was windy and chilly. The building is pueblo style and the wait staff are dressed in traditional Mexican costume. There is also a traveling guitarist to serenade you at your table if you like. I'd recommend this place to anyone who happens to visit San Diego or even a resident who hasn't tried it out.

::Excellent food, large (humongous, actually) portions. Great atmosphere. We sat on the patio under the giant pepper tree. They built my husband his own combination. Marvelous chips and salsa. I had a salad, the Guadalajara Taco Salad or something like that... I can't remember exactly what it was called. I won't order that again. All the salads have the same dressing according to the menu. Unimpressed. I strongly recommend if you're planning to go on a weekend evening with a large group, make reservations a day or two ahead. We waited an hour for our table. We had four adults, one child and one high chair at 7:30 on a Sunday evening.
