::New Carvel store that recently opened and seems to be very busy every time I visit. But the employees there were quick and efficient and I didn't wait long before I got my order. The manager himself was also here and explained that some of the initial negative reviews were from previous employees who were not well received with the customers and as a new business with a reputation to build, they wanted to make a good impression. In my opinion, I would say come to the store and check it out yourself! Overall I would say that my visit here was more than satisfactory. The employees were very nice and attentive to my requests. Even though some of them may not be fluent in English, this is a very diverse neighborhood and we should be supporting our local businesses and shops no matter their background. Their ice cream is made fresh every day (you can even taste it!) and with so many people coming and going, they're constantly refilling the ice cream as well! I got a classic sundae but I already can't wait to try their other menu items, some of which look insanely delicious. Already a local favorite, this will definitely be one of the places I will frequently visit for my evening sweet tooth cravings as well as birthday celebrations!

::I got fired from here because the job “was not for me” but the store owners don’t speak English only Chinese. The employees have to clean everything, serve everyone and on top of that only had 2 days of training while this is most of their first jobs. Also, the owners will make you teach them everything while you don’t even know what they’re doing because they don’t know English or how to use to technology. They also don’t know what sugar free ice cream is. They do not have it no matter what they say. The owners split the tip with the employees working that day and a man who is there all day everyday. So he makes more than all the employees and on top of that splits the tip, the employees do no get paid well. The employees get paid in cash because the owner did not even put them in the system probably because he doesn’t know what he’s doing. When of the owners work with you you have to correct everything she’s doing because she messes up everytime and she also elbows, pushes, slaps and sucks her tongue at everything the employees do. She put the wrong cap and too much ice cream in one container and yelled at me for doing it. ALSO they don’t clean properly, they have wet rags sitting in dirty water that employees have to use to clean around the shop. There is no cleaner involved, just water. The best help I had at that store was when Dan, the trainer, was there, other then that it was awful. Most unorganized place you eat and work at.
