::A good location right outside of the train station. Good service, fast. Nothing much else to report, it’s like all other Carvel’s. Nothing really unique about this one.

::Ice cream used to be much better. There was a change in the consistency and flavor of select ice cream flavors. It is still pretty good though. Most of the time it's great to come here and get my ice cream, I've been doing it for over 23 years. The one major con is the service. This Indian guy is always rude, does not appear to want to do his job, does not want to answer questions, wants to serve cups and cones about 3/4 of the way. Usually I try to avoid ordering from him.

::One of the few shops on the BX for soft serve.i got two near my house but this one's the better of the two. Always clean, always in stock of items. With so many Baskin Robbins in the hood I hope this Carvel can stay open forever....so far so good.

::We all know ice cream can get messy, especially on the go. After already spending $5.00 on this waffle cone , I asked Tee, also the manager for a cup to place it in so the kids wouldn't make a complete mess on themselves and in the car. He responds with "you didn't order it in a cup so I can't give you a cup." He gave me the plastic lid you see pictures above, which I appreciate because it was something, but a bit too shallow and small to be fully effective. I explained to him the situation with the kids and let him know two children would sharing and again, he continuously shook his head, so very adamant about not giving me a cup......... Now, usually this type of interaction would not irritate me, but here's why it did: 1. In my 25 years of life and experience with Carvel, this is the first time I've ever gotten any pushback with getting a cup after ordering a cone. ? 2. This location is extremely busy, situated on the corner of 183rd and Grand Concourse, so it took 10 mins to even find a hydrant to pull over by... 3. Even after Tee realized his mistake in how he scooped and placed the ice cream that contributed to the mess, he still refused the cup! Was it really that serious ? The service was horrible. I will never be returning and will tell all friends in the area about my ridiculous experience....
