::This place is never open, and the hours are not posted on the door. If you try calling, they don't answer the phone. We tried to go on two different occasions (during normal business hours), and it was closed. We will not be returning.

::TERRIBLE service. Only reasons this place gets two stars is becauae the food was ok...ya know, after an hour and a half wait and having to send it back because it was cold. It wasnt even busy.

::I held a corporate meeting here for a small business. In eight years, I have never been more pleased with an entire culinary experience. First, the staff and executive chef will give you a completely personalized experience to ensure your menu is perfect. They will take extra time to speak with you outside of your event and advise you on what would be best for your guests. When is saw the excitement on my guests' faces as the amazing display of food was laid out in the private dining room, I was o thankful to the chef for his time and effort into ensuring everyone was satisfied with the selection. The food is all locally sourced, made fresh ( including the fried pickles and special mustard for the cheese and meat tray). The chef spends hours preparing every ingredient with care, like the turkey which is slow roasted for 3- 5 hours. When you are savoring every bite, you can tell how carefully and ingenuously the food was prepared. I stated earlier I am a small business so I did not have a large budget for this event. We were treated like absolute royalty by the chef, the staff, and even the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, special, and ensure our event was nothing short of perfect and thanking us for our business and taking time to talk to us. The server even sat there and opened every bag for our left overs. I have never seen more attentive service. In addition, for what my budget was, the value was unmatched. There were literal mountains of food on display, so much so that I was able to send to go containers of food home with my guests and have food left over! I cannot say enough about this business and everyone involved. In short, Carve is a culinary masterpiece and has perfected the restaurant and hospitality business in Pittsburgh.
