  I have been going to Dr. Kym Carpentieri for about two years. See is an excellent doctor who is thorough. The office and medical staff at her office is great. I have never had a problem calling and speaking to a "Real Person", which is the reason I left my last doctors office.

  I recently selected Dr. Carpentieri as my primary care physician, because my PCP retired. I went for my first wellness visit, and I it was an excellent experience. My blood work and urinalysis was conducted in the office, which saved me time and energy. (I can't stand going to crowded labs.) Dr. Carpentieri has a good bedside manner and her staff members are professional, efficient and friendly. I don't usually write reviews, but I was very surprised to read negative reviews, so I felt compelled to share this.

  My wife and stepdaughter go to Dr. Carpentieri and have for five years and she is excellent. She is always kind, patient and takes time with them and because of her osteopathic background she only schedules necessary tests. They are both very pleased and I am considering switching from my long time doctor to see her as well.

  Made an appointment approximately 2weeks ago and marked the date and time in my phone and on my calendar. Prior to the scheduled appointment the receptionist, sent me out a new patient application packet with my name written on it. Today when I called to see if I could come in earlier I was told that there was no availability and that I was not even scheduled nor was there any record of my existence. I have never wrote a review in the past but this ininconvenience is upsetting and unprofessional because I took off of work and fasted since last night. Should of noticed the 1star from the other guy.

  Dishonest with me. Runs tons of unnecessary tests. You think a new doctor just out of a central islip medical school (wow really?) would be a little conservative, but I must pay for her new double suite new office space and employees with all these uneeded tests! She Didn't even know hepatitis B is an STD! its 70% sexually acquired!
