::Hello Folks! I am POA for a 93 year-old lady whom I've known for nearly 10 years and about a month ago I had to place her in a "long term healthcare" community and I was directed to Carmel Health and Life Community by IU Hospice care. Everyone there is just great, very friendly, helpful and the lady I look after is absolutely pleased with her room and living quarters! I've told the Admissions director that if I need a place to live, this would be it! I must admit she's somewhat picky about her food, but I've tried some bites of some of her meals and I found the food to be very good. This is a large healthcare community and lots of people to care for but the management, the staff, maintenance, kitchen personnel all do a fantastic job and I enjoy going to visit there on a DAILY basis! Keep up the great job!

::I have a family member who resides at Carmel Health & Living Community. Staff is willing to discuss any issues or concerns that we have and work on resolving them. I find management focused on having the best, caring staff possible. This is the best of all the facilities where my family member has resided for the last several years.

::This place is grimy. Literally. After a members stay there, we started payments. Immediately after, an attorney letter came in threatening my family member to voluntary lien there home or go to court for a judicial lean for less than the cost of a used car, and make the minor dependent children of this person, homeless. These individuals are truly disgusting. Even with proof of payments, they are threatening to take her home (as would medicaid if we pursued it) and leave children without one.

::My family member is currently at this facility. We are very pleased with the care he has received this far. They are very on top of his care and we have had multiple care meetings about how he’s doing. The staff here are truly great! By far the best experience we’ve had at a nursing home.
