  I am writing this review on behalf my mother who was a patient at CareOne in Paramus: I spent a month recently at CareOne rehabilitation facility in Paramus recovering from a serious fall which required daily therapy sessions. My stay there was very positive and successful. I was placed in a really comfortable room and nice bathroom. I was able to make a good recovery thanks to the wonderful rehabilitation staff who took me from not being able to get out of bed to walking completely unaided. The doctors assigned to me took care of my every need as did the nurses, aides, social workers and even administrators who would periodically come to check on my progress. CareOne is a highly caring and professional organization and I am grateful for their efforts in getting me back on my feet and functional. Pamela Gilli Ramsey NJ

  This place is not a place to get good care. The nurses aids ignore the call lights, don't know how to do care for patients and play with cell phones. You would have to be able to get outside help to get out of bed, toilet, wash, dress, feed and any other care from some family or friend because the do not do it at Care one. I would never allow myself or family member to go there again. Alert and oriented patients who are continent have to lie in their own urine and BM for hours because they soil themselves from waiting. It is just wrong.

  If I could give them a "0" rating, I would. This place is a living nightmare. My mother was a patient in their rehabilitation facility. She used to call me at all hours about how he was sitting for hours in her own urine and feces. She never made it out of this place! They didn't put her cpap on at night and she died because her body couldn't clear the CO2. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LIVED ONE'S HERE!

  I have been here for almost 9 weeks recovering from a broken tibia. I’ve gotten nothing but the best care from the nurses,aids and administrators. Everyone here from the PT staff to the dining and kitchen people have been nothing but nice and gone out of their way to help me. The place is clean and kept up well. If I had to spend long term mending from an accident like I have I couldn’t think of a better place than to be here.

  I'd rate this facility zero if I could! My father stayed there for a week before we had him transferred elsewhere. On his second day, he waited over an hour and a half until someone answered his call for assistance. When we learned of this, we ensured a family member was with him the following day, which made absolutely no difference. He was almost falling off his chair and needed to transfer to his bed (just had a hip surgery), and when the assistance calls weren't being answered, we were told by the attending aid she had been working all day, she was tired and needed to go on break. Shockingly, another nurse said the same thing and they walked away!! Others who were visiting other patients noticed the situation and said that's the ongoing treatment at that facility by almost all personnel!!
