::Daisy who was servicing me stopped in the middle of me opening my account to talk to a white customer instead of finishing up with me first. I found that extremely disrespectful and felt that there was a hint of racial bias in there. I talked to the assistant manager about her behaviour. Hopefully she's able to correct this however I will be calling corporate.

::Enjoyed my first visit to this branch, since Westchester Square branch closed down. Looking forward to returning here, if I have any questions or issues. Even though I have to travel s few miles from Castle Hill.

::My mother and I had an encounter with Nigel Johnson who was arrogant, combative and came at me like he was linebacker. He threatened my mother with closing her accounts and denied her access to her safe deposit box because we had the nerve to expect service before the woman who came in after we did. It was elder abuse and intimidation at its finest. My mother is an 83 year old woman with diabetic retinopathy and have only 25 percent of her hearing, in addition to high blood pressure. I tried to calm her down but that wasn't working. Because she confuses easily I couldnt get her to understand that he was bluffing and couldn't do anything to her, but she was so upset she paced the floor. I was afraid her pressure would go up so my goal changed from getting into her safe deposit box to getting her out of there to calm her down. I was afraid for her. Besides I couldn't get anyone to help me from Capital One because they promote elder abuse and racism based on my experience and other comments I've read so I wasn't surprised. Nigel Johnson is nothing but a bully of elderly women who can't challenge him or defend themselves. If I was black and/or a man he would NOT have behave like he was on the football field fighting with the umpire for a bad call. He deliberately tried to hurt my mother. He seen how upset she was and he still refused her access. That's the kind of "man" he is. Is that the kind of person you want helping your mother? Someone who is watching your mother getting upset knowing she is elderly and sick and do nothing to help her and continue to torment her for his enjoyment? The best part is for no real reason other than because we were 2 white women who stood up to him and didn't cower in the corner like he wanted us to. His ego was bruised and he was going to show us. Show us he was in charge and no little old lady was going to challenge him? He'll show her. Elder abuse! Standing up to a sick elderly white woman doesn't scream professional or manager or even a human being. Maybe Capital One should invest in classes for Nigel on what elder abuse is and to leave his ego at home. Racism is very real here. No doubt in my mind it played a huge factor in his attitude. i firmly believe because we were white it was his opportunity to take advantage of a white person. I'm guessing Capital One doesn't have classes to discuss racism in the work place since Ive read many comments on Facebook about racial comments from black employees to white customers. Promoting racism gave him permission to behave that way without the thought of repercussions. Capital One should teach all employees about elder abuse, bullying, racism and how to conduct themselves in a professional environment because Nigel Johnson clearly doesn't have a clue. I wonder how would he feel if someone did that to his mother? After the incident I tried speaking with someone to file a report and speak with a supervisor and maybe manager if the branch and district manager. Well I'm true Capital One fashion after 6 calls I spoke to 4 people who did absolutely nothing. One actually called me to tell me Capital One branches are sort of separate entities and she couldn't help me. So why call me??? Then I'm told "Anthony" is the branch manager and will be calling me after he speaks to the client he had. Interesting since that was yesterday. It will be 3 days and counting and I have not heard from anyone of authority to tell me how Nigel's behavior will be dealt with. Not even enough respect from a district manager to apologize for the loss of a customer to his bank. Confirms Nigel's behavior was completely acceptable. WARNING: DONT DO BUSINESS WITH CAPITAL ONE
