::Went for happy hour two days in a row. Frozen margaritas for $5 were excellent. Tried beef fajitas dinner (outstanding) and second night ordered happy hour Nachos with grilled chicken... the serving was enough for 3-4 people as a snack ... dinner for one! Great service and great happy hour selection.

::Went in around 6pm with a party of 3 with no reservations. The hostess was very rude and explained that (although the restaurant was almost empty, save for maybe 20 people outside), they would not have enough staff to serve us when their reservations showed up. Furthermore, the wait would be an hour and 15 minutes. We said we could wait, and she seemed incredulous. She reluctantly wrote down our name and said "okay". When I asked how we'd find out if our table was ready, she said "oh, uh, I'm not sure. I guess come back and check." Lovely. I'm not sure where the poor attitude came from, but I'd recommend that if the restaurant is reservation only that they make that clear. Alternatively, maybe have a few more people working on a Saturday night with several conferences in town. We went next door to Mi Amigos, had a delicious dinner, and were finished just before our appointed 7:15 dinner time. When we walked by again - no new people had arrived at the Canyon Cafe. So...something of a confusing experience, coupled with an exceptionally poor attitude from the hostess.

::Canyon Cafe was recommended by the concierge at the Hyatt. Set options for outdoor seating or indoor seating. It was a little bit warm so we chose indoor. Restaurant was clean, visually appealing and our service was great. The basket of chips was uniquely amazing. I ordered the fish tacos. They came on a hard shell tortilla, I think they would have tasted better on the soft shell tortilla. Overall experience was great. We would go return.

::I enjoyed the food and location of this restaurant. If you would like to get a good bite to eat happy hour is a great time to try some of the dishes. I will be returning to try some of the food not on happy hour menu! Do not forget to get your parking ticket stamped. Enjoy the food...

::This was my 1st time at the Canyon Cafe and I was not disappointed! Everything was really good and fresh, from the homemade chips and salsa, to the large portions of the meal. I had the chicken tacos with rice and black beans. Would order those again! The server was very nice and the food came out quickly. We sat out on the patio at night and it was beautiful!
