  This is THE go-to place for my staple morning pastries. In comparison to other bakeries, most of Canaan's breads/pastries are lack-luster in appearance; but that's exactly what makes this place so good; their humble bread leaves you to assume a bland taste yet the first bite blows your mind. My three top picks are: loaf that has a mocha/coffee-ish whipped butter spread; the bread that has layered sweet red & green bean; walnut based bread that has a swirly crisp top (sorry I don't know the official names of these breads). I try to make them last 1 week but they are gone in a few days.

  I love this little bakery /Cafe spot I always stop in while on my way to get my lashes done. I always get there jujube tea. Jujube tea is so delicious/ comforting and warming. The ladies behind the counter are very kind and sweet. Love coming here there gombo bread is also a must it like a peanut butter type of bread . One of my favorite spots to sit and relax, will always come here for a cup of jujube and gombo bread. Thanks for the warm service Canaan bakery.

  Some very nice cakes and other pastries, Asian style, some of the staff don't speak English very well but usually someone does. Coffee and other drinks. I like the cakes as they are very light and not overly sweet.
