  I like calandra the rolls are nice and warm in the morning and the cakes are good. I had them do an letter e for my son 3rd birthday the cupcakes were a hit everyone enjoyed them as always

  One the best bakeries in the entire state of New Jersey. The incredible and vast selection of French and Italian deserts & breads are to die for. I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years (until I relocated to SC almost 4 years ago). There is fresh bread every hour that melts in your mouth, specialty cakes that are sold at reduced prices by the day, cupcakes, gelato, cookies, scones, pies, donuts and other bakery goodies! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking in the Newark location is is a bit challenging since there is no parking lot but it's worth the street parking. The Fairfield and Caldwell locations are in strip malls so they do have parking lots for your convenience. Every chance I go home, I must go to Calandra's for some sweet home pleasurable desserts.

  great bakery... amazing french n italian baked goodies... prices r reasonable (a little above avg)... friendly staff... many branches

  The display was awesome! Everything looked so tasty. I wanted everything. I had to have the egg custard tart. OMG... so good!
